Simply put, the good news is the gospel as found in the Bible!

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). 

The clear message of God's word is two-fold:

1. We are sinful human beings.  Each of us fails one another, ourselves, and God. 

2. In spite of our sins and failures, God's love for us is unconditional and unending.  He put an action plan into place for you and me.  God sent his only Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life in our place and to pay the full price for all our sins by his death on the cross.

This great love means complete forgiveness and eternal life.  For us!  For free!  There is nothing we can ever do to earn or deserve this.  We are absolutely confident of our relationship with God and that heaven is ours because of Jesus.  This all comes to us because of God's great love.  This is good news!
